Minister Brook Hut

Tucked along side the minister brook, and surrounded by lush forest and rushing streams. A quiet retreat, it offers solitude or endless opportunities to explore. 

Access:
The hut is located approximately 1/3 mile from the parking area along a mostly flat approach. Specific directions to the parking area and hut will be provided upon booking. 

Recreation:
Groomed ski trails in winter, hand and machine built mountain bike trails in the summer.

Features:

  • Free access to all trails

  • Two queen sized bunks with mattress pads

  • Futon bed/couch (for additional seating and sleeping)

  • Vermont Bun Baker Woodstove with oven for wood fired cooking and heating (seasoned wood provided). If planning to use you should have experience with wood stoves. 

  • Kitchen with pots/pans/utensils/etc., (no running water, use stream water or the caretakers can provide 5-gallon jugs of tap water upon request)

  • 30-foot wrap around deck with picnic table and additional seating

  • Outdoor fire pit

  • 2-burner propane cooktop for preparing meals

  • Small table and benches for eating meals

  • Newly built outhouse with composting toilet for hut guests

  • This cabin is off grid: no electricity, no cell service

  • Two battery powered lanterns are provided

Hunger Mountain Hut

Located at the height of our land, and at the foot of Hunger Mountain, this hut is built as a backcountry base camp. A mountainside retreat with a sauna, it is ideally situated for four seasons of wilderness adventure.

Recreation:
Groomed ski trails in winter, hand and machine built mountain bike trails in the summer.

Access:
The hut is located approximately 3/4 mile from the parking area. The approach trail follows a forest road with moderate grade. Specific directions to the parking area and hut will be provided upon booking.
